Life just got easier January 6, 2009 Shadow ACE (Massachusetts, USA) I have a trailer. I also have motorcycles, lawn tractor, snow thrower, furniture, appliances, and a bunch of other BIG stuff. Oh, did I mention my four sons who also have a lot of those same things as well? And that they know where the keys to my truck and trailer are kept? It seems that my trailer gets a lot of use moving things around. We've been using a pair of folding ramps to facilitate loading and unloading, but those are a little too short, and they have a "bump" in the middle when they're extended that tends to grab onto things on the bottom of the bikes, so they're really not convenient. They are also quite narrow so there's no place for feet when loading a motorcycle. It's not impossible, but it's also not comfortable. The Lund Tri-fold is longer and MUCH wider, so it's smoother and far safer when moving a 600-800 pound motorcycle. The Tri-fold open to form a solid platform so you don't have the problem of one side moving and dropping your cargo. I shopped for this ramp for over three months and this was hands-down the best deal available. If you need a ramp to move larger items you should have one of these.
This ramp definitely does the job! November 17, 2008 Moto Fan (Midwest) Bought this for loading up motorcycles, atvs, (and anything else) into the back of my truck bed. Definitely has done a fine job so far. Have no complaints to speak of. I'd recommend it. I got it really cheap! That's a real plus :)!
Features that make it stand out from others January 8, 2008 J. Riquelme (Space Coast, Florida) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this one because it offered a friendly surface for 4 wheeled, 2 wheeled, lawn mowers. the ladder-rung type ramps just seemed too resistive to climbing up an angle on a truck exposing you to over-accelerating and possibly crashing into rear of cab. This unit is robust and yet light enough to easily lift/carry. I like the smooth hinge system. The best feature are the articulating contact points on top of ramp; the best design I have seen yet. They accommodate almost any angle; are very strong and grips well offering a seamless transition to where ever you set them.

this product does not stand up. it is rated for 750lbs per each but started to bend the very first time with a 640lb motorcycle. it is not good unless maybe the weight is spread from side to side not on two wheels.

We love our Lund Tri Fold Ramp! It's a Great Product at a Great Price! It's very strong, yet lightweight enough, that one person can handle it. We wanted a ramp that was one piece for stability. Its solid design offers good traction along with worry free loading of all items. No worrying about anything slipping through,....like it could with an open ladder type ramp. The anti slip rubber pads and safety straps make it very secure. The longer length provides a more gradual incline than standard ramps. This adds to their versatility around the home. They're so handy for moving items.....even up and down stairs
